Carola Poulson

No word from Carola yet, so no news...but Jo Champness has sent me a photo of Carola, taken at school in 1967. You can see it on the 'Nostalgia' page.

I'm afraid I can never forget a geography class in which Bill Slater told Carola, who had arrived late,

"Today, Carola, we're going to talk about Arkansas."

Nothing too striking in that, perhaps but Bill put extra emphasis on the 'O' in the middle of her name and pronounced Arkansas 'R-Kansas'!

Well, it amused me..!
